Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced finance and leasing sales expert, ideally with business aviation experience, to join our team and drive our origination efforts in Lower Central US. This role will generate, develop and maintain relations with corporate and high net worth clients that require financing for private aircraft by prospecting, and will drive Global Jet Capital origination efforts in assigned region/territory by generating proposals and working with clients to meet their financing and leasing needs:


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Global Jet Capital competes for and wins a fair and appropriate share of global large and super mid-size cabin aircraft financings
  • Accurately forecast opportunities and communicate to business
  • Coordinate with Risk, Underwriting, Legal, Finance to meet transaction requirements and complete closings
  • Identify leasing and financing opportunities for business aircraft; generate appropriate and highest yielding opportunities
  • Prospect, generate proposals and work with clients to structure financing solutions matched to their buyer's concept.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management /Aircraft Sales team to track inventory aircraft coming off lease or loan, deploy inventory aircraft to new financing solutions
  • Build/maintain relationships with clients, OEMs and other Key Influencers (UHNWIs, financial advisors, banks and bank wealth management divisions, management companies and brokers)
  • Leverage relationships of origination teams, SLT, sponsors and Global Jet Capital team members to generate leads
  • Coordinate with Marketing to develop promotional and prospecting materials to ensure Global Jet Capital's financing offerings are meeting market needs.
  • Support Credit, Legal and Underwriting teams in closing transactions
  • Use lead generation strategy to target and develop ideal customers in the corresponding market
  • Capitalize on Marketing support and internal resources to build, refine and enhance lead generation efforts.
  • Maintain quality of pipeline metrics using Salesforce.com for opportunity management and forecasting accuracy; regularly enter/update opportunities into salesforce.com
  • Utilize the Miller Heiman sales methodology to manage every sales cycle and process

  • Financing and leasing structuring and transactional experience
  • Knowledge in current practices, trends and information affecting private aviation financing
  • Knowledgeable in financial analysis and credit risk guidelines relevant to aviation financing
  • Knowledge of the competition; strategies and tactics in the marketplace
  • Knowledge and ability to prepare consultative financing proposals
  • Ability to conduct internal negotiations and deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to build trust with the customer and team members
  • Demonstrable negotiation skills
  • Focused to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Thrive in high-stress, multiple transaction environments
  • Action oriented - focuses on things that need to be done, prioritizes and seizes opportunities as they arise
  • Bachelor in business, finance, accounting, economics or other business-related curriculum. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • 10 years or more of consultative selling, and financing related experience preferred
  • Appropriate language skills (English fluency minimum requirement)
